YOGA-THE UNION; IT IS THE UNION OF ALL EXISTENCE

The science of Yoga claims that it has discovered the Laws that can help grow and strengthen personality in everyone’s life to achieve perfection. Yogic Science wants you to be Strong, to take the work in your hand instead of leaving it in the hands of nature. Man must grow in Knowledge, in Power, in Happiness. That is the Great Idea.
Meditation calms the mind, brings Self-composure and enables one to concentrate on one’s Mental Powers. It should be part of Daily Routine, to counter-balance to the intensely active life in present day World. Meditation gives you Freedom and Infinite Joy.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS: Pranayam, Asans and Meditation are beneficial in the morning after having bath and empty stomach, sitting either in Siddhasana or Sukhasana, facing east or north on a Unconductive Surface all the time.
They should be performed half an hour before meals or 4 hrs after the meals. One must sit erect with head, trunk and hips in a straight line. The Spine should be free and the weight of the body should be supported by the ribs. There should be no jerks in the whole process.
Chanting of “OM“ repeatedly 10 times helps in Meditation.

 


Observing Silence and Keeping Calm and Quiet for a day improves meditation.

MEDHA SHAKTI: High Levels of Memory Power. This helps one to quickly grasp the subject one studies and to retain the matter in memory without lapse. It is a tremendous Intellectual faculty that functions in two ways:
(i) Ability to comprehend
(ii) Ability to Remember.

CONCENTRATION: The main difference between Humans and Superhuman is in their power of concentration. High Achievements in Science, Art, Music, etc are the results of Good concentration. Good Concentration will get you Perfect Control of your Mind.

To Increase Concentration:
i) Focusing of vision at one point without blinking helps in increasing Concentration. Paste a white paper on Card Board of 1’ X 1’. Have a Black color circle at the centre of the board of about 1 cm dia. Now at the centre of Black circle, have a yellow spot/dot of 1 mm. Focusing at the yellow spot for about 5-30 mnts everyday helps achieve great levels of concentration.

PRANAYAM & BREATHING: Regular Breathing puts the body in Harmonious Condition. Pranayam will give you Good Health, maintain Physical Equilibrium and Better your condition generally. We continuously gain energy through breathing. Regular Systematic Breathing helps you bring your Mind under your control. It increases your Concentration level.

Tribandh during Pranayam is very important:
(i) Mool Bandh (Contracting the Anus)
(ii) Udiyaan Bandh (Fly up Lock)
(iii) Jalandhar Bandh (Glottis Lock)

i) Braahmari Pranayam: It helps in increasing Memory power and concentration. While sitting, close your eyes and put both first fingers in both ears (not pressing too hard) Take a deep breath and chanting of Mmmmmmm...... At least 10 times is beneficial for better results. One can do it for 15-30 mnts.

ii)  ANULOMA-VILOMA (ALTERNATE NOSTRIL) PRANAYAM: This is the simplest and best Pranayam. Tremendous gains on health front and with regular practice over a period of time improve eyesight and relieve mental tension. Pessimism is replaced by optimism.
Sit on non-conductive Cloth. Exhale completely through both nostrils. Close the right nostril and slowly take a deep breath through the left nostril. Now hold the breath as long as possible. Then close the left nostril and exhale slowly through the right nostril and hold the breath out for as long as possible. Now inhale through the right nostril, hold it for some time and then exhale slowly through the left nostril. After completely exhaling hold your breath out for some time. this entire process is one Pranayam.
The ratio of the duration should be 1:4:2:2 respectively e.g. Ideally 5:20:10:10 Seconds. 5- 10 Pranayams are good enough for excellent results.

AASANAS:
i) Shashaank Aasan: Ideal for all children. It helps to curb aggression and channelise   their Energies and Forces for Developing Wisdom. This Asana helps develop Pineal Gland and suppress AdrenalGland, resulting in controlling anger and relieves from Sciatica Pains.
ii) CHAKRASAN: It reduces fat in Body and increases height of children.
iii) VAJRASANA: The Asana of Strength. It strengthens the digestive and Nervous System and cure of almost all stomach disorders.
iv) TAARAASAN: It reduces intro-abdominal Pressure.

MORE HEALTH TIPS
1. Chew 5-7 leaves of Neem and Tulsi each, everyday empty stomach. This will help gain good memory; avoid diseases like Excess cough, TB, Malaria and Fever.
2. DO NOT DRINK tea, coffee or cold drinks empty stomach.
3. Eat your meals slowly and chew it properly. Take at least 25 minutes for finishing your meals. Drink liquids when you are breathing from left nostril and eat food when breathing from right nostril.
4. Make it a point to sleep with your head towards east or south. This will result in positive energy flow in your body.
5. Avoid taking bath after sunset.
6. Excessive boiling of tea/coffee produces TANIN ACID, which causes liver problems and damage digestion system.
7.  Take breath only through nose. Don’t talk while walking.

According to Ayurveda Water is the best medicine for many disease like Headache, constipation, cough, Acidity, Pimples, Urine infection, Joint pain, Anemia, Obesity, Hypertension etc. It also helps in curing some serious health hazards like Blood pressure, Bronchitis, Paralysis, Tuberculosis, Diabetes; Lever & Kidney related problems and heart disease along with many more serious problems.
So the first one should do after waking up early in the morning is to Drink around 1.25 lt. of water. Make it a habit. It will help cure:


· Diabetes in 1Month      ·Hypertension in 1 Month  ·Gastritis in 10 Days 
·Tuberculosis in 3 Months   ·Constipation in 10 Days ·Paralysis in 3 Months  
· Cancer in 6 Months    

 

Proper way of Drinking Milk:
· Have milk in morning and evening only. Never have it in night or before sleep.
· Never add sugar in milk.
· Avoid eating/drinking for 2.5 hrs after having the milk.

Suggestion for Morning Walkers:
· Take breath only through Nose.
· Don’t talk while walking.

IT DRAINS Proper way of Drinking Milk:
· Have milk in morning and evening only. Never have it in night or before sleep.
· Never add sugar in milk.
· Avoid eating/drinking for 2.5 hrs after having the milk.

· IT DRAINS YOUR ENERGY while jogging, try to put down your toes first and then heals.
· Avoid Brisk Walking after Sunset. 
· Don’t sit on any surface without a non-conductive cloth for preventing your internal energy to get it earthed.
